I recently went with my friend to get her hair dyed at his sisters house. She was dying her hair black, and unfortunately, as I was watching her, bits of hair dye speckled on my brand new white shirt. Now, there are tiny spots of black dye that are on my shirt. How do I clean this? I can't bleach the entire shirt because the collar has hot pink lining that I dont want to turn white.

I have had good luck with the Clorox Bleach Pen when it comes to getting tough stains out of white areas of my children's shirts. You just need to make sure it doesn't get on the colored parts because it will ruin them.

I haven't tried it on hair dye, but I've used it on permanent marker (and various other impossible stains) with success.

According to Consumers resource , /they suggest white vinegar,,use 1/2 cup and mix with 1and 1/2 cup of water and let it soak for 10 minutes then to that water add some dish detergent like (dawn) and gently rub. They also said you can use Ammonia .

One of my favorites is rubbing alcohol , I use that on almost everything, Test a small amount of both of there and see how they do.

If you stopped dying your hair a year ago, the hair with the white things is the oldest hair on your head - ie the part you damaged the most. The sun and heat styling also cause split ends and breakage. These are all things that keep your hair from looking good.

If you dont trim your hair regularly, split ends will travel up the length of your hair and break off high up on the strand. End result is youre going to have to wait a looooonggg time before you get long hair because its going to keep breaking and splitting until its all snaggled-looking.

Always trim your ends every month or so, especially if you have damaged your hair in the past and are trying to grow it out.

Don't be so quick to dismiss the lice answers. That is EXACTLY what the "nit" (lice larvae) looks like. Here is a picture of nits...remember they have been blown up considerably so you can see them. It's not lice, I know what you are talking about. I have them too; it is split ends. Try really good conditioner and hate to say it but get a trim. Mine came because I straightened it too much, I stopped, and they still won't go away.

well first, the white thingys on ur hair may be dead cells from ur hair or just damaged tips...

second, if u want ur hair to be super long and healthy.. it is best to cut ur tips every couple of months... it will grow longer this way and much healthier. because if u dont cut ur tips every so often, burnt and damaged tips will keep growing and eventually u will have to cut them off.. cutting all those years of growing it. ;D

your hair is still damaged by the dyes. it's still split end even if you cut them off since the strands are so brittle it easily comes back. you just have to keep on trimming them until all the damaged hair has grown out. in the meantime you might have to spend money on hair treatments from salons.

Have you ever tried a Denman brush. They are good strong brushes to use when you are in the shower. Wash your hair no-poo style (using conditioner only, not oil stripping shampoo-conditioner CAN get it clean enough, while leaving it smooth and soft). While its wet in the shower brush it in the style you want. You can shake and let air dry, if your hair is long enough. Or slightly pat dry, adding come gel while its still kind of drippy wet and air dry. Denman helps curls "pop" from my natural texture, which is thick kinky, so it should really bring out the natural curls in your hair easier. Denman is a good brand and can be found at Sally's beauty supply, or other high quality supplier. The trick I find for keeping my curly style is to let it air dry and don't touch it afterwards. Let it "set" on its own, the more you handle it, it can mess up and you'll have to wet again to start from scratch.

I have dark brown hair. I noticed I was getting grey on the sides. I searched hair care and found something that helps. It said your hair craves moisture, never towel or blow dry your hair, just shake the water out and let the rest evaporate. Use a conditioner that moisturizes. White punk rock guys are cool with any girl, that's why. They tend to be the free spirits, the liberated, and really cool dudes. They were the best customers when I was a cashier at Rite Aid. Its too bad I don't work with any at my current job.

Most black guys (and I say MOST, not all), have insecurities about themselves. Half the time they feel they are above all other guys, especially white and asian guys, and that they can put their hands on any girl they wish and the other half they are sulking at every other non-black guy because they feel us other guys as a whole let them down and bring them down when its they themselves who do. I think that many people admire the different physical looks of the various races on the earth,but because of the fear and small mindedness people have of someone whose looks and culture are different than thier own, taboos have sprung up that try to limit who we associate with, date, marry , do business with etc..( A garden with only one type of flower can be rather boring. I have sisterlocks (which are tiny manicured locs) and I have noticed that the response from whites guys far outweighs the response I get from black guys. I don't know what it is but here is my theory. Our natural hair is what makes us unique. When it is straightened, it is seen by others as essentially trying to be white. But, straightening it doesn't give us the freedom that comes with having "white" hair. Black women don't do alot of things for fear of messing up their perms like swimming, working out, and just being free.

From my limited experience, black women who have locks overwhelmingly tend to be paired with white guys. My hair attracts white guys of all economic stati young and old. I have had too many white men reach out and touch my hair, just willing to take a chance on not getting slapped, lol.

Beauty is beauty and it's recognized by many. Too many people of color reject what is beautiful because they fear what white people think of natural hair, basically being too black, and have simply been brainwashed.

I do not know... but its interesting. It seems a white guy is more likely to compliment a black gal about her natural hairdo than black men are......... from my own experience. All the white boyfriends Ive had, including my present one have always liked my hairdo.
