hey iam 13 and iam getting white hair. iam sleeping 8 or 9 hours, which is enough, and my diet is healthy. so what am i doing wrong and what am i suppose to do? i dont have any major stress is my life either, just getting my summer homework done is it. help me??!!

Oh hun, I know you're problem is. I had grey hair when I was 3. In my case it was heriditary. My grandfather was fully grey by the time he was 25. I'm 20 and i'm already 25% grey. How strong is it in your family? Talk to your parents, if it is, that would be in your case. Hopefully that helps some!

My guess is that you either have really dark hair or curly hair... This happens. unfortunatly there is nothing you can do besides hair coloring. you can pull them out "don't believe people that say 2 will grow in its place (it wont)" but that one will grow back and it will be white. but the way coloring is made today, it is not bad for your hair..

it seems like its hereditary. if not your parents then maybe their parents or grandparents must have also got premature white hair.

the way you describe it, your lifestyle is pretty healthy. but you didnt mention whether you oil your hair or not.

first of all dont fret or get worried because it wont turn your white hair black or brown or whatever colour it was.

you cannot do much about the hair which has already turned white but can make sure the other dont follow suit.

for this purpose you need to make sure that apart from having a healthy diet, you provide nutrition to your scalp and the hair shaft as well.

take a few tablespoons of warm olive oil and ask a grown up to massage it well into your scalp so that the scalp absorbs it. this will provide nourishment to your scalp and in turn to the hair shaft and will reverse the effects of chemicals and pollution.

shampoo the next morning.

repeat this atleast once every week.

if you have brown or black hair i recommend you apply henna. soak half a cup of it in tea water overningh. next morning apply it to your roots and the hair as well. leave it on for not less that one hour and wash off.

this will also save your hair from turning white and will colour your white hair copper brown and will help camoflage.

but please do not use a dye on your hair.
