I recently went with my friend to get her hair dyed at his sisters house. She was dying her hair black, and unfortunately, as I was watching her, bits of hair dye speckled on my brand new white shirt. Now, there are tiny spots of black dye that are on my shirt. How do I clean this? I can't bleach the entire shirt because the collar has hot pink lining that I dont want to turn white.

I have had good luck with the Clorox Bleach Pen when it comes to getting tough stains out of white areas of my children's shirts. You just need to make sure it doesn't get on the colored parts because it will ruin them.

I haven't tried it on hair dye, but I've used it on permanent marker (and various other impossible stains) with success.

According to Consumers resource , /they suggest white vinegar,,use 1/2 cup and mix with 1and 1/2 cup of water and let it soak for 10 minutes then to that water add some dish detergent like (dawn) and gently rub. They also said you can use Ammonia .

If you stopped dying your hair a year ago, the hair with the white things is the oldest hair on your head - ie the part you damaged the most. The sun and heat styling also cause split ends and breakage. These are all things that keep your hair from looking good.

If you dont trim your hair regularly, split ends will travel up the length of your hair and break off high up on the strand. End result is youre going to have to wait a looooonggg time before you get long hair because its going to keep breaking and splitting until its all snaggled-looking.

Always trim your ends every month or so, especially if you have damaged your hair in the past and are trying to grow it out.

Don't be so quick to dismiss the lice answers. That is EXACTLY what the "nit" (lice larvae) looks like. Here is a picture of nits...remember they have been blown up considerably so you can see them. your hair is still damaged by the dyes. it's still split end even if you cut them off since the strands are so brittle it easily comes back. you just have to keep on trimming them until all the damaged hair has grown out. in the meantime you might have to spend money on hair treatments from salons.

Have you ever tried a Denman brush. They are good strong brushes to use when you are in the shower. Wash your hair no-poo style (using conditioner only, not oil stripping shampoo-conditioner CAN get it clean enough, while leaving it smooth and soft). While its wet in the shower brush it in the style you want. You can shake and let air dry, if your hair is long enough. Or slightly pat dry, adding come gel while its still kind of drippy wet and air dry. Denman helps curls "pop" from my natural texture, which is thick kinky, so it should really bring out the natural curls in your hair easier. Denman is a good brand and can be found at Sally's beauty supply, or other high quality supplier. The trick I find for keeping my curly style is to let it air dry and don't touch it afterwards. Let it "set" on its own, the more you handle it, it can mess up and you'll have to wet again to start from scratch.

White punk rock guys are cool with any girl, that's why. They tend to be the free spirits, the liberated, and really cool dudes. They were the best customers when I was a cashier at Rite Aid. Its too bad I don't work with any at my current job.

Most black guys (and I say MOST, not all), have insecurities about themselves. Half the time they feel they are above all other guys, especially white and asian guys, and that they can put their hands on any girl they wish and the other half they are sulking at every other non-black guy because they feel us other guys as a whole let them down and bring them down when its they themselves who do. I have sisterlocks (which are tiny manicured locs) and I have noticed that the response from whites guys far outweighs the response I get from black guys. I don't know what it is but here is my theory. Our natural hair is what makes us unique. When it is straightened, it is seen by others as essentially trying to be white. But, straightening it doesn't give us the freedom that comes with having "white" hair. Black women don't do alot of things for fear of messing up their perms like swimming, working out, and just being free.

From my limited experience, black women who have locks overwhelmingly tend to be paired with white guys. My hair attracts white guys of all economic stati young and old. I have had too many white men reach out and touch my hair, just willing to take a chance on not getting slapped, lol.

Beauty is beauty and it's recognized by many. Too many people of color reject what is beautiful because they fear what white people think of natural hair, basically being too black, and have simply been brainwashed.

I die my hair blonde. Why? Coz it's grey and dark hair on old ladies looks like dyed dark hair on old ladies. Britney, on the other hand, can dye her hair purple and she'll still be white trash. Yes, a lot of American women go blonde, but I think they're just having fun with it. I'm not sure they're trying to be "white" necessarily...

downplay your hair because you want people to be focused on your music. maybe a sleek chignon with a little flower in the back. away from your face would probably be good. another simple classic 'do is to curl all your hair, put it in a ponytail just below your crown. take random pieces and pin them up around the ponytail. pin more or less for a tighter or looser effect.

Sorry but it's in your genes, meaning if your parents hair started getting white early so will yours. It's not uncommon for young people to have white/grey hairs. I noticed two years ago that i started getting grey hairs in my head and i was 18. When there are fewer pigment cells in your hair follicles, that strands of hair will no longer contain as much melanin and will become a more transparent color, in your case white. There's nothing you can do other than dye it. Most people think stress causes white hair but there's no real scientific evidence and if you don't believe me look it up. I really hope this helps you.

I too have extremely curly hair. Granted my curls are just about 90% white. But, after decades of having short cropped hair, I've decided to grow it out and re-own my curls.

I use Nexus Humectress conditioner, just a pea sized amount, worked well into my hair while it's still wet, along with a good dose of "Frizzease" serum to keep away the frizz that white curls get.

I then pull it back loosely in a headband and let the curls do their thing.

Sometimes I'll just get frustrated and pull it all back tightly into a ponytail or bun. Sometimes I get creative and use a 1 3/4" curling iron and straighten it out after drying with an ionic hair drier.

But I try not to damage it as white curls can "break" too.

1st let me just say i know exactly how you feel, im black and mexican and my hair is more towards mexican stlye but curly...kind of like soft curls. I hate it to. I cant straighten my hair cause its to thin and could brake off but i cant wear it nice and tight curly its so frustrating. So what i do is when i want it straight i get some hair straighten stuff like those frizzease stuff and some bio silk (must have..it works so good and make my hair so soft) let me hair air dry then blow dry it straight with a blow dry, then flat iron it. when i want to do curly i just put some curl activator gel and some regular gel and just let it air dry...it doesnt come out like tight curls but its nice and curly and easy to deal with. point blank you'll just have to except what you have and deal with.

ummm its not so much that there white (i am myself) but more about gentics, like look at itialian most are dark skinned dark eyed, and irish light skin light hair, light eyes, but when it comes to the u.s. were so mixed up with genetics that we could be getting stuff from anywhere. like my dad is 3 different things and my mom like 5 so you see i have a very large gene pool and lots of traits i could of inherited instead of my brown hair and hazel eysw but i didnt

lol ok.. so i'm guessing your black... first, you don't want "oily" hair. you want healthy, conditioned hair. there are a LOT of factors that go into choosing what kind of moisturizer to use, like, do you have a relaxer? do you have finer hair? or way kinky? you should grease your scalp like once a week, after washing- YES, only wash it about once a every week-week 1/2. overwashing makes your hair dry and brittle

depending on the length of your hair, after greasing your scalp, you should wrap your hair and cover it in a silk bonnet to sleep in. use a big toothed comb to comb your hair and dont brush it often, only when necessary.

I suggest you use a leave in hair conditioner. after you wash your hair put in the deep conditioner put a plastic bag on you hair and wrap it in a warm damp towel. Leave it on for 10 min. then simply rince out If your hair is really as dry as you say I would use it twice a week then down to once a month.I'm a hairdresser so I hope I helped.

It is normal, it just means that there is no pismentation in the skin which is common in a birthmark. if there is no pigmentation in the skin the hair won't have pigment either

Its just a couple patches without the pigmentation that hair gets its color from. If you're a girl you'll probably shave it anyway. If you're a guy, I guess theres a 50/50 chance you might shave it, but even if you don't I hardly think it would be a big deal. Its hardly a disfigurement or a third leg. It's totally nothing. I would never worry about it if I was you.
