okay i have really dark brown hair... well i decided to go blonde so i bought a medium ash blonde dye... well after i dyed it, it turned orange... well i thought that maybe if i dyed it again it would lighten up(i know that brown hair has to go through stages)... okay well after the second time it was worse... so i went and bought a toner called born blonde( i also used that twice!!) and my hair was still orange!!!... so i finally went to a salon(5 and dime) and the lady highligted my hair with foil... now my hair is yellow, orange, white, and brown!!! it looks horrible!! oh and in the back the highlights are side to side instead of straight up and down!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! I WORK IN A OFICE AS A RECEPTIONIST AND ITS REALLY EMBARRASING (not only to me but im sure my boss is emmbarressed!!) do you think lemon juice would take some of the orange out??

Always happens to me,since im a dirty blonde. I suggest washing your hair with shampoo %26amp; then conditioner. It will eventually lighten up by washing it %26amp; being outside. Good Luck.

my first piece of advice...from expierience NEVER EVER buy ash blonde try golden! just go to Ulta tell them what happened and they will give u a toner to add to you hair color. Once it's in it bonds and blends w/ the dark colors!

If you know how to do it, you can go get some hair products that can get the dye off your hair, or yo ucan just dye it back, and then dye it again to blonde. If you really need help, go to a salon.

go to a different stylist and dye it back to brown- dont put anymore bleach on your hair- it is seriously stressed. Get a treatment on your hair too, they usually cost around 10-15 bucks. Try to go blonde another day.

You're going to have to go to a real professional to fix it. I did the same thing to mine and it didn't look right until I spent over $100 at a salon. You are frying your hair with all the products you are using. I'd consult a professional first and see if it will fry your hair even more. Wear pretty scarfs until then. Good luck!

I think your best bet is to just dye it back brown and then if you still want to go blond you can go to a good salon to get it professionally done. I really doubt anything will help and if the streaks in the back are side to side then there is no fixing that. Sorry hun but you'll have to go brown...oh but maybe go brown and wait a bit before you go blond again, you don't want to damage your hair too much, that will make it look worse then you think it does now. You can do two things

1-there is a purple bottle of shampoo at any beauty supply store that takes the brassiness out of hair.

or

2- Go back to the lady that did the highlights (the salon should have some sort of guarentee on their work) she should fix it at no charge. I suggest dying it back to brown with a more gentle dye...

You can never go from brown to blond at home no matter what anyone tells you. You will only get orange.

Lemon juice would take some of the orange out. Maybe you could try going to another salon. You should go back to that lady and try get your money back or have her fix it. There are also several hair color removing kits at any beauty supply store. If that doesn't work you might have to bleach and then you can dye it back to brown.When you make dramatic change like dark brown to blond then it's always best go to a salon.

ok whoa. Breathe. Here is what you have to do.

if you cant go to a salon (which I recommend) there is a way to fix it. I did the same thing years ago. It was a nightmare.

You need to purchase a HAIRCOLOR REMOVER KIT. Check Wal Mart, Walgreens etc. Follow the directions on the package. EXACTLY! You have to remove ALL the traces of color from your hair. Then, DYE IT BROWN AGAIN!

No lie. Forget the blonde until you can have it done in the salon. I guarantee your hair will continue to become more and more damaged and orange (only in more horrifying, varying degrees of color) If you really MUST have it blonde, then, once you have stripped ALL of the color from your hair, it should be a gnarly banana yellow color. You then apply the tonor. NOT BEFORE!!

You have overprocessed your hair now and could start to breakoff and fallout.

Here is your best bet, Pick up the haircoloring something like "Naural Instincts" or something that is made up of herbs an natural ingredients. Get your hair back to a lighter shade of brown. And stop tying to be a color that your not. It takes alot of money for upkeep. Enhance your beauty by other things like makeup bronzers that leave a glow. soften the lips, whiten the teeth if needed. Get hair clips and learn how to do different styles with your hair. Keep it simple and wearable for office.

sounds like you wnet to the wrong salon. Generally, you shouldn't go straight from a really dark color to a blond, you should take it in steps gradually getting lighter, making sure to use a good toner to keep from getting brassy tones. If you go to a better salon they should be able to help you. But if you aren't careful and you over-process your hair, there is nothing you can really do but go and have it stripped, which is not good for your hair at all. I tried going from a bleached platinum up to a dark drown, but my hair was over processed so it didn't accept the darker color and turned greyish instead. But I didn't think it was very healthy to strip my hair so I cut it off and decided to start from scratch. You could try going back up to a darker color, and then make sure you use a really good conditioner for a couple of weeks, then try again taking it down a shade at a time. But if your hair is over processed it might not accept the darker color back. So be carefull and make sure not to damage your hair any more than needed, if you can skip heated hair appliances like the blow drier and straightening iron for a while while doing all this dying it will help your hair stay healthier and less damaged. hope this helped:)

You've never had a relaxer? Hmmm, idk I was going to say maybe your hair was damaged. Did you dye it?

Also, are you straightening everyday? If yes, that is VERY damaging to your hair! Especially if you don't use a heat protectant!! Before you straighten always use a heat protectant like "Chi Silk Infusion" (it's so expensive and I hate that, but at least it leaves your hair silky and protects it) or Joico Daily Care Leave-in

Do this and your hair should grow:

*Wash every week with Creme of Nature or Neutrogena Triple Moisture

*condition with L'Anza Kukui Nut(my choice), Organics Root Stimulator Replenishing Pak, Nexxus Humectres, or the conditioner by Kenra (forgot the name). LEAVE ON FOR AT LEAST 10 minutes before you rinse. Put a shower cap on while you wait.

*try to leave your hair curly. If you have trouble detangling it, use a detangler (the joico i listed earlier can be used. so can any kids detangler)

*If your hair is always on your shoulders, try putting it up in a bun or ponytail.

Putting some warm olive oil on her hair and letting itsit for fifteen minutes in a plastic bag before washing it out might help. Once a week. Optimum care shampoo and conditioner-in a pink bottle and found in the African-American hair care section if you're lucky enough to have one where you live is also good for coarse hair. The REASON she is getting dry hair IS the baby shampoo!! STOP using it immediately!!

Baby shampoo is TOO gentle and mild for some people. (I shouild say most people.) It has a tendency to dry the hair folical more than other shampoos simply BECAUSE of it's gentleness. It doesn't have enough of the nutrients our hair needs to survive.

When I was a kid, I had just the opposite problem, it made my hair greasy, flat and lifeless, while my neighbor experienced the same problem you describe your daughter as having.

I can't explain why because I'm not a chemist, I can only tell you what I know to be true.

As I got older, I tried different shampoos trying to find the right one FOR ME. I did finally find one that made my hair behave, but that was only for a short time. I have found that changing my shampoo on a regular basis changed my hair and made it behave better. I also found that using a conditioner on an unfrequent basis did WONDERS for my hair as well.

I would suggest you try the same thing since not one shampoo makes everyone's hair behave the same or their wouldn't be so many different brands and types within a brand.

Experiment a little. Try a particular shampoo for a week and see if you like it. If not, then try a conditioner with it and see if that works, if not try something different until you come across one that does what you want.

Remember, different shampoos and conditioners are made to do different things.

You may like one brand of shampoo and a diferent brand of conditioner.

As far as the gray hair, well, I knew an 8 year old boy in school who was almost completely gray. It was kinda cute and so was he. He excuded self confidence like you wouldn't believe!!

Get her to a doctor and have her thoroughly checked out pronto. I am assuming that at 9 she isn't using dyes, perms, hairdryers etc so she should not have problem hair. Children's hair is usually quite silky.

I don't want to alarm you but some very serious conditions could produce this kind of effect. Best to rule them out.

I have had white hairs, just a few, since I was a child. I also have very thick, dry hair. I don't wash my hair as much as most people because it makes it so dry it breaks. I have used olive oil in my hair to moisturize it. It may sound strange, but the oil absorbs and disappears overnight. My hair never gets greasy. Now that I'm over fifty I have more gray hair, but not very much especially compared to my mother who had to color her hair at 45. I don't think baby shampoo is as mild as its rumored to be.

As far as the dryness, try a hot-oil treatment. Depending on the severity of her hair, you may need to do more than one.

Also, mayonnaise. I'm totally serious. Massage mayonnaise in to her scalp and through her hair. Wrap it in saran wrap and leave it it for about 15-20 minutes. Be sure to rinse it out thoroughly.

All these products are professional products by Matrix and can be purchased in salons or online. They will work without hot oil therapy. Was she in a swimming pool a lot during the summer? maybe you should get the CHI treatment done at your salon. it's like 140$. it thins the hair and straightens it. i found it a great waste of money. bhut it does thin the hair since thats what your looking for.

The most important things that you need are detangling and moisturizing hair products and a wide-toothed comb. You need to find a moisturizing and detangling shampoo. Try the Optimum line of products. They have several new shampoos and conditioners out for dry hair that are really good for hair that tangles and frizzes (like mine). Motions also makes a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and they also make a decent leave-in conditioner. Always use leave-in conditioner when the hair is wet, because the hair will be easier to comb through. And even though you may think these products are too oily, you are going to need to use some sort of moisturizing hair lotion, which Optimus and Motions also make. Try using these mostly on your daughter's ends. I would also suggest styling her hair in either one braid in the back or in two braids on either side of her head, rather than a ponytail. This will keep her hair neater and keep it from tangling and breaking off. Do NOT chemically straighten that child's hair!

I am also bi-racial (filipino and black) but I have straight hair, my sister was born with tangly curly hair and she uses Smooth N Shine Styling Moouse to tame her dry and frizzy hair. It works very good for her. We also grew up using Isoplus Castor Oil, but that tends to weight the hair down, and leave a greasy face...lol just dont apply too much. Maybe just to the back of her hair and not the front area.

My granddaughter is mixed b%26amp;w. We use a kid's shampoo with conditioner. Towel dry, then we spray it with No More Tangles and comb through with a wide comb. Then we use a styling mousse to keep it from getting frizzy. Also, we have to keep the ends trimmed or they tangle. She has the most beautiful hair! It takes some work, but it's worth it. It lays in long curls or waves.

My sister has the same problem with my niece. So I bought a Texturizer for her hair. Which is like a relaxer only it doesn't completely straighten the hair. It takes some of the coarseness out of the hair and makes it more manageable. It was by PCJ and came in a yellow and green box. You'll know it when you see it. The two little girls on the box both have long wavy thick hair. It also contains an oil that you put into the mix to keep the pH balance of the hair

Shout wipes are great. I would try that. You could also put detergent on the dress and let it sit. Is it dry clean only?

If it is then take it to the dry cleaner and tell them what the stain is. They may be able to remove it. You could wash the dress by hand using a mild detergent. Just work the stain.

You have very pretty hair. It kinda reminds me of my own. (I have naturally curly hair too). I like the curls, but you should try to soften them; kinda like the picture attached. I think this will look really cute on you. To do this, you'll probably have to blow your hair straight, follow-up with a flat iron (to smooth it out), then curl with a medium sized curling iron. To have honest to god thick hair, well some of it is genetics. Like I have such thick, wavy hair and its completely natural, I get it from my mother. Some say it is a blessing, I sometimes think otherwise when it gets unruly...

However, you can fake it with products nowadays. They have shampoos/conditioners that thicken the strand, so it makes it appear thicker. Pantene has a good product.

After washing your hair, apply a thickening serum (such as Bedhead or Tigi, can be found at alot of stores and salons). Then blow dry your hair with a flat brush, but hold your head upside down so you can blow dry your hair underneath. This makes your hair have more body and appear thicker.

Go to a hairdresser and ask them. It probably isn't a good idea to try anything yourself, because your hair might be too brittle after bleaching it to have any other colour over it. You could end up with something you really don't want, so I reckon play it safe and ask a hairdresser.

When I comb my hair infront I usually pull a few hairs out (some have little white dots on the end). It's not especially thin, but it is thinner than the rest of my head.

My dad is bald, and so was his father and all of his brothers.

My mother has all her hair, and so does everyone on her side of the family.

I also dye my hair occasionally (around 5 times since last summer), and bleach certain parts (I've done this twice, once on the side, and once infront). I also straighten my hair every morning.

I know these things can make your hair thinner, but straightening my hair usually doesnt make my hair thinner until after I do it.

My hairline seems fine, it comes down normal infront and doesn't doesn't go back on the sides as far as most guys my age (16).

Could my thin hair in the front of my head be caused by something other than male pattern baldness? When I search that's all that comes up.

I'm pretty sure you're losing your hair from all those chemicals you are dumping on them, and the pulling and heat from heat styling! You can also be losing some hair because of the hormone testosterone that teenager males produce in quite high levels and because you are genetically predisposed.

Tips: leave your hair alone and adopt a healthy diet. You shouldn't be losing your hair at such a young age (I'm pretty sure you're too young to be suffering from male pattern baldness anyways so don't stress out about it - see a doctor if this really bothers you).

To have honest to god thick hair, well some of it is genetics. Like I have such thick, wavy hair and its completely natural, I get it from my mother. Some say it is a blessing, I sometimes think otherwise when it gets unruly...

However, you can fake it with products nowadays. They have shampoos/conditioners that thicken the strand, so it makes it appear thicker. Pantene has a good product.

After washing your hair, apply a thickening serum (such as Bedhead or Tigi, can be found at alot of stores and salons). Then blow dry your hair with a flat brush, but hold your head upside down so you can blow dry your hair underneath. This makes your hair have more body and appear thicker.

I'm sorry for the disgusting question but I've noticed for the past few months I have dozens of white, raised bumps under my breasts; some of them appear to be hair follicles but others have whitish pus when I squeeze them. Occasionally it's itchy or annoying.

I gave birth 10 months ago but I don't breastfeed so that shouldn't be related. I bathe regularly with Ivory soap, no perfumes, and generally have sensitive skin.

I'd go to a doctor but I have an expensive copay and am trying to save money and solve it on my own for now. It's more unsightly than a problem.

I would say they are only small sebaceous cysts which have formed in hair follicles on your breasts. It is safe to squeeze this white pus type material out of the bumps. I often do this for my wife and it causes no problem. It is important to keep the area clean after squeezing out the pus. Men often get these bumps on their Penis and testicles. Sweat causes them.

I get these same bumps. I haven't been pregnant but I think the reason your getting these bumps is the same reason teenagers get acne. Your body under went hormonal changes during your pregnancy and is still trying to find its rhythm so your basically having some "white-heads" appear under your breast. Another reason as was previously mentioned is sweat. I have rather large breast and moisture contributes to my acne. If your cup size changed during your pregnancy then this could also be a cause of your acne. Treat it the same as you would other acne, clean the area, try wearing cotton bras because they wick away moisture, and also don't be afraid to squeeze them and clean the area with an antiseptic..... I don't really think you need to go to the Doc. about this particular problem. Now if you start bleeding from any of these spots I would recommend that you go to the Dr.

I'd get bangs. If you have blue eyes and light skin, bangs would really bring out your eyes. Your height doesn't limit you from any style. You can have hair all one length or layered. Round faces look good with straighter styles with less volume at the sides and more lift at the crown. No big, curly dos for a round face. Side parts look good for the round face too. Middle parts are slimming as well, if you don't want to play around with the crown hair. No bangs are ok as long as your forehead has good height. Low forehead and round face is a bad combo. After years of lousy styles, I finally figured it out!

Don't freak out, everything you have is NORMAL. Women tend to break out, be it on their chest, face or back before they start their periods. Hair grows everywhere, especially where there are plenty of oil glands ( around the nipple to help it from drying, around the mouth to keep the lips from getting chapped). The little whit dots are just clogged oil glands. No need to be concerned, they clear on their own and won't cause problems. If the hair is bothersome, just pluck it. I don't recommend waxing just because the skin in these areas is very thin and sensitive. You may also want to talk to your doc about the birth control your on, some can actually make your skin worse rather than help it.

I've been coloring my hair since I prematurely grayed in my 20's. I let it grow out last year for my 50th birthday. I'm about 90% white. I look much older than my age and washed out. I was recently offered my senior citizen discount! I live in fear of someone thinking I'm my husband's MOTHER!

How about a reverse frost? Instead of having to take the color out....all you would have to do is pull your hair through the cap...then just put the color you want on it! You would need to look for some hair color or toner that would really soak into your hair. I have very stubborn gray around my face. I bought some hair color, and I'm going to do it myself this weekend.

That is an awesome idea. Don't stick with a color you don't like.

First, I would not reccommend doing it yourself. It seems like what you are looking for is more subtle and natural results and those can best be achieved through a colorist. If you get the right color, you won't have to go back too often for touch ups. So, find a colorist (someone experienced in hair coloring).

I would say that you should go with a pale blond, since your hair is white and that way the roots won't be obvious if they grow out a little. Go with a "single process" color, which is technically a temporary color but lasts a long time and gives your hair a lot of shine too.

Have her choose a pale ash blonde (if you have a cool skin tone) or a pale golden blonde if you have a warm skin tone. Once this single process color is in, your colorist can add some lighter highlights to make it look more natural and to make root growout even less noticeable.

It will look awesome!
