okay i have really dark brown hair... well i decided to go blonde so i bought a medium ash blonde dye... well after i dyed it, it turned orange... well i thought that maybe if i dyed it again it would lighten up(i know that brown hair has to go through stages)... okay well after the second time it was worse... so i went and bought a toner called born blonde( i also used that twice!!) and my hair was still orange!!!... so i finally went to a salon(5 and dime) and the lady highligted my hair with foil... now my hair is yellow, orange, white, and brown!!! it looks horrible!! oh and in the back the highlights are side to side instead of straight up and down!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! I WORK IN A OFICE AS A RECEPTIONIST AND ITS REALLY EMBARRASING (not only to me but im sure my boss is emmbarressed!!) do you think lemon juice would take some of the orange out??

Always happens to me,since im a dirty blonde. I suggest washing your hair with shampoo %26amp; then conditioner. It will eventually lighten up by washing it %26amp; being outside. Good Luck.

my first piece of advice...from expierience NEVER EVER buy ash blonde try golden! just go to Ulta tell them what happened and they will give u a toner to add to you hair color. Once it's in it bonds and blends w/ the dark colors!

If you know how to do it, you can go get some hair products that can get the dye off your hair, or yo ucan just dye it back, and then dye it again to blonde. If you really need help, go to a salon.

go to a different stylist and dye it back to brown- dont put anymore bleach on your hair- it is seriously stressed. Get a treatment on your hair too, they usually cost around 10-15 bucks. Try to go blonde another day.

i would go to a another salon and see what they say ! or get a light brown hair colour and dye it with that ...or you could try a henna dye they are really good and make your really shiny.messy and you gotta leave it on for about 3-4 hours.

You're going to have to go to a real professional to fix it. I did the same thing to mine and it didn't look right until I spent over $100 at a salon. You are frying your hair with all the products you are using. I'd consult a professional first and see if it will fry your hair even more. Wear pretty scarfs until then. Good luck!

I think your best bet is to just dye it back brown and then if you still want to go blond you can go to a good salon to get it professionally done. I really doubt anything will help and if the streaks in the back are side to side then there is no fixing that. Sorry hun but you'll have to go brown...oh but maybe go brown and wait a bit before you go blond again, you don't want to damage your hair too much, that will make it look worse then you think it does now. You can do two things
1-there is a purple bottle of shampoo at any beauty supply store that takes the brassiness out of hair.
or
2- Go back to the lady that did the highlights (the salon should have some sort of guarentee on their work) she should fix it at no charge. I suggest dying it back to brown with a more gentle dye...
You can never go from brown to blond at home no matter what anyone tells you. You will only get orange.

Lemon juice would take some of the orange out. Maybe you could try going to another salon. You should go back to that lady and try get your money back or have her fix it. There are also several hair color removing kits at any beauty supply store. If that doesn't work you might have to bleach and then you can dye it back to brown.When you make dramatic change like dark brown to blond then it's always best go to a salon.

ok listen do u want blonde like paris ? if so you have to bleach it although it will be rough on your hair depending on the texture but i have blonde in my hair now its half blak and half blonde so go get some bleach its in a powder form and get 40 developer ad let it sit till you get the right blonde you want the longer the blonder...

ok whoa. Breathe. Here is what you have to do.
if you cant go to a salon (which I recommend) there is a way to fix it. I did the same thing years ago. It was a nightmare.
You need to purchase a HAIRCOLOR REMOVER KIT. Check Wal Mart, Walgreens etc. Follow the directions on the package. EXACTLY! You have to remove ALL the traces of color from your hair. Then, DYE IT BROWN AGAIN!
No lie. Forget the blonde until you can have it done in the salon. I guarantee your hair will continue to become more and more damaged and orange (only in more horrifying, varying degrees of color) If you really MUST have it blonde, then, once you have stripped ALL of the color from your hair, it should be a gnarly banana yellow color. You then apply the tonor. NOT BEFORE!!

You have overprocessed your hair now and could start to breakoff and fallout.
Here is your best bet, Pick up the haircoloring something like "Naural Instincts" or something that is made up of herbs an natural ingredients. Get your hair back to a lighter shade of brown. And stop tying to be a color that your not. It takes alot of money for upkeep. Enhance your beauty by other things like makeup bronzers that leave a glow. soften the lips, whiten the teeth if needed. Get hair clips and learn how to do different styles with your hair. Keep it simple and wearable for office.

sounds like you wnet to the wrong salon. Generally, you shouldn't go straight from a really dark color to a blond, you should take it in steps gradually getting lighter, making sure to use a good toner to keep from getting brassy tones. If you go to a better salon they should be able to help you. But if you aren't careful and you over-process your hair, there is nothing you can really do but go and have it stripped, which is not good for your hair at all. I tried going from a bleached platinum up to a dark drown, but my hair was over processed so it didn't accept the darker color and turned greyish instead. But I didn't think it was very healthy to strip my hair so I cut it off and decided to start from scratch. You could try going back up to a darker color, and then make sure you use a really good conditioner for a couple of weeks, then try again taking it down a shade at a time. But if your hair is over processed it might not accept the darker color back. So be carefull and make sure not to damage your hair any more than needed, if you can skip heated hair appliances like the blow drier and straightening iron for a while while doing all this dying it will help your hair stay healthier and less damaged. hope this helped:)

Go to the Drug store or wal-mart and buy a Hair Dye remover kit.It is so easy to put on and it will take out all that dye you have in your Hair,I have used it because I bought a really cheap Hair color.I never will do that again,I will only use Lorelle preference dye which is cream instead of liquid it is awesome.
