When you do buy the dog shampoo, make sure it is either white or blue. Even better, get shampoo that specifies it is for white coats. Otherwise, your dog's fur will end up tinted whatever color the shampoo was, no matter how much you rinse. You're dog's fur could end up looking like an old lady's hair (all purpled tinted or something).

(This is just what I happened to pick up at the store. There are many other "white-coat" shampoos, most of them work equally well, but do make sure it is specifically for white dogs, those will give you the best results.)

For eye boogers, I would recommend giving your dog spring water instead of tap water. This cuts down on tearing a lot. Use a wet wash cloth to clean off existing tears. There is a type of horse shampoo that brings out white... not sure if they have the same things for dogs, lol! Ask your groomer, he or she will definitely know. And for the eye boogs, I just use a damp cloth to wipe them out. For stains though, again, ask your groomer... Don't use bleach, that could be harmful, but I'm sure there is some sort of diluted solution out there somewhere. Good luck!

We used some stuff called sno glo,got it at pet smart,works great,eye boogs,scissors and patience. Keep the hair around the eyes trimmed often,that should keep them from building up.
