There are three races in this world: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Neg'oid, else wise known as White, Asian (as in East of India), and Black, respectively. What people don't know and often neglect is that race has NOTHING to do with skin color. You can be a black skined person whose ancestors are all White British, and you'd still be classified as White.

In America, we are taught according to the Census that White refers to people with ethnic origins from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Latin American countries and African countries classify us as White, as well. To my knowledge, Canada used to classify us as White, because most Mid-Easterners in the country were Lebanese and Syrians who have the lighest skin complexions of all Mid-Easterners. But the recent influx of Arab Muslim immigrants from the gulf and North Africa changed that. Now, we're "Western Asian."

In most (not all) European countries, we're classified as a minority. In Australia, we're treated like a minority because of all the stupid recent Lebanese gangs from the North who target "anglo-Australians" but I think the government classifies us as White, as well.

Lots of famous people in Europe, the Americas, and Australia look as White as a British person but are of Lebanese Christian origin.

Overall, we're definitely White according to logic.

Dog eat dog, America classifies Lebanese as Middle Easterner, and Middle Easterner as White. What's your point?

most lebanese ppl are tanned . and in gernal a bit lighter than iraniess and iraqies. ut u also get some realy white ppl with blonde hair and blue eyes in lebanon. but the majority are mediterinian like italians and greeks. people from cyprus look verry similar to lebanese people too.

Lebanese/arabs are white according to US racial census.

All north africans, middleasterns and europeans even some central asians are whites.

Arabs have pale skin some arabs also do have tanned skin(especially saudis due to strong sunlight and heat).

BTW iran and iraqis are also whites and most of them have light skin.

Greeks are meditarians, just like arabs and persians.

With the exception of Greeks from Cyprus, Crete and some Aegean islands, all Greeks like 95% have white/fair skin.

And some Lebanese are white too but that percentage is much lower when compared to Mediterranean/European countries such as Italy, Greece or Spain. But these two are different kind of whites.

Greeks are Mediterranean/European white, while the Lebanese are Semitic/Arabic white. The US census states Greeks as white/caucasian, and Lebanese as Middle Eastern. I know this because i live in New York. I hope i helped. Bye.
