Do you consider people from Spain white?I Do.?

Spain is in Europe, neighboring France %26amp; Portugal.People from Spain living in Philipines %26amp; Africa are considered white there.Antonio Banderas,Penelope Cruz,Alejandro Sanz, look like white people to me.I'm not talking about people from Peru,or El Salvador. I mean people from Spain. My friend Ramon is from Spain has green eyes %26amp; brown hair %26amp; considers himself white. What do you think?

Do you consider people from Spain white?I Do.?

Yes they are white!

Spain is in Europe so of course they are white.

What would they be?

Latino or Hispanic?

Nope.

They are white just like any European.

Yes they are darker than other Europeans but that doesn't make them a different race.

Some white people are tanner than others.

spain wasn't ruled by african tribes, it was ruled by african muslims and they were driven out by king ferdinand and isabella. if you look in the encyclopedia, the people are described as "nordic and celt decent" not "black or whatever you were saying" Report It

wouldn't it be a wonderful world if we didn't have to define

ourselves by color? Why is it so important? I know people of every different hue and shade - and I certainly do not describe them as being black, white, purple or any other color. Oh, and thanks for the geography lesson - borders

get blurry when you're talking about the populations that inhabit them.

They are white but they look a little different to many other European countrys becuase Western Europe has a large background of people that came from scandinavia to western europe 1000 years ago and not to Spain, Portugal and Italy. There DNA is a little different.

I've been there they're white even if they've got a tan

People often mistake race with ethnicity. Race refers more to physical characteristics, ethnicity to cultural traits. I'm Cuban, in Cuba I'm white, in USA I'm Hispanic.

In Spain, Cuba, Peru, El Salvador and many other countries there are whites, blacks, natives and many other races, it's just in USA that we are grouped in a big "Hispanic" or "Latin" race that is actually our ethnicity.

Sure, I think we can disregard that Spain was under the rule of African Nubian Warriors for about 1000 years (in which they did mate with each other) and just call them White....

oh wait, that sounds familiar...oh that's right, that's the same thing the 'White Americans' did with the Black Americans'.

Sure I guess it works then.

depends on actual color oh his skin. OR if he is referring to be "WHITE" as in he is proud of his race and wants nothing for free and only wants it based on merit. Many meanings to the term "WHITE" I am pretty sure it is about skin color cuz lets face it that is how owe are all judged first then by the amount of money we have or don't have.

We are all a big mix these days... Thank goodness for that.

A note to "LESS TALK" (maybe that's what you should do... Less talk). Portugal and Spain have been under Northern African Nomudian "rule" for a period of time.

But for your information these people too are Caucasian (Not that this fact matters since the genetic flow in Europe is so complex and there is no such thing as races in humans, biologically speaking. Plain and simple we should should all drop these irritating issue of skin color)....

The majority yes, but some have other bloods (arabs and something else from north africa). Some of them look kind of olive in color. However, I don't think penelope looks white, when I first saw here I thought she was mexican, same with antonio. They look hispanic to me.
