I have a black people/white people question. I'm not rascist?

I was just wondering why black people can only have brown/black hair and brown eyes. Because white people can have blue, green, or brown eyes, and blonde, brown, black, or red hair. Why don't Africans have a variety? Any scientific answers?

It depends on their genes. I've seen black people with grey, blue, or green eyes although on very rare occasions. Same goes for the hair and other features, it just depends on genetics. There's nothing wrong with your question.

Dark skin helps protect you from ultra violet from the sun which is why africans living in a very sunny climate evolved this way. I'm not sure if eye color works this way, but I read somewhere that blue eyed people are less likely to suffer from snowblindness in the far north. This is probably why huskies usually have blue eyes.

I think that our differences are adaptations to our environment of today, as well as eons of adaptations along the way.That's the best I can come up with. As far as the span of mankind goes, whites nor blacks have been on this continent very long. I believe that the "sun man/ ice man" theory explains why differences exist in all peoples from region to region, and only time will tell when the next noticeable differences will start popping up.

Let me tell you there are brunette, blonde, and redheads. ALso there are all the eye-colors you mentioned.

Black people can be natural blondes (like my brother) and have light eyes (my brothers and I all have green eyes). And we are not biracial, but there is German and Irish blood several generations back. I have black cousins that are redheads. We do not all have brown hair and brown eyes. We are very diverse. Genetically speaking, you must have some mixture of European blood to have these variations, but they do exist, as most blacks in America are not 100% black. Is your question about black Americans or Africans? Different parts of the world have different predominant characteristics. In Africa, hot and sunny weather would produce people with a darker pigment (for sun protection) and dark eyes (light eyes are more sensitive to light---like mine). Tighly coiled, dark hair gives the scalp more protection from the sun. White people are indigenous to cold climates.

It's genetics. Darker hair and brown eyes are a dominant trait whereas the others are recessive. Which means if the genes are there dark hair / brown eyes will always show up.
