Is my hair too soft to get a perm? my hair fell out when I got braids before?

My friend did part of my hair in braids before and it started to fall out

Should I get a hot comb? and I don't mean the perm for white people where they get their hair curly, I meant the kind that straightens it.

Newsflash:There's a difference between soft hair(which goes along with healthy,strong, shiny*mine;P*) and Weak, which goes with brittle, dry, coarse, thin, ect.

I'd suggest you dont get a perm.

There are perms for fine hair, %26amp; timing is key too. go to a salon though. Be safe. Braids are soo hurtfull..they PULL on your roots %26amp; recede your hairline too. besides breaking hair ~! Don't try it yourself~! OK? :O)

Chemical straightening is very damaging on the hair, so I would suggest not getting it. I got the straightening done when I had healthy hair and it fried my hair to the point of me having to cut it really short :(
