Recently i have white stuff falling from my head/hair when i scratch it. My mom says its dandrift and to wash my hair good. I do, and every day my head hurts and itches constantly its Annoying! Please tell me if oyu had this problem before.

yup, got it. the weird thing is, i only get it on one area of my scalp. i put moisturizer on it :)

it's dandruff. use head and shoulders, it's the mildest shampoo for dandruffs, and if you use it regular, it really does work. also, check for lice. head lice makes your head really itchy too.

It could be that your scalp if just dry or damaged. Try scrubbing your hair for a few weeks with just conditioner. It will itch worse for a few days, because it is healing, but after that it will itch less. Make sure you use your FINGERTIPS to stimulate your scalp. Also, be sure you are rinsing whatever you use on your scalp off completely. If you have a handheld shower head, take it off, put it close to your head on a beating setting. Also, try a hot oil treatment.

it is dandruff and your shampoo is probably making it worse. drying out your scalp. also remember to replace your hair brushes too. wash anything you use in your hair. get dandruff shampoo and if it still stays you may have to see a doctor to get prescription strength.

I just did this yesterday,, lol,, Go to the kitchen and get out the Shortening.. yep, shortening. Take a glob n get it into the scalp. not your hair. Although it wont hurt your hair, its the scalp that needs moisturizing. I let it sit for an hour or so and then take a shower and shampoo as usual. When you shampoo , be careful not to scratch your scalp with your nails. This just fixes the symptom , something caused the sudden change. Have you recently changed shampoos? You may be allergic to the fragrance or another ingredient. Shortening is also great for dry cuticles.

use mild shampoo. don't scratch too much. when you use anti-dandruff shampoo, rub in circles and put lots in the sections with lots of dandruff.
